These are always the jobs I enjoy. I have worked with Imperial Triumphant for awhile now and have designed their previous logo as well as the artwork for their last 2 releases, including their first E.P. and they're first full length record, Abyssal Gods. Imperial Triumphant is a black metal band based out of New York City that has grown in popularity very quickly over the last couple years. Coming from my background of metal music, I think that they bring a unique sound to the genre today with far more thrash elements and technical musicianship rather than the "shoegaze" ambience you typically see in contemporary black metal. They come highly recommended to all metal enthusiasts. Check them out at:

Frontman, Zach Ezrin contacted me about taking their "brand" in a new direction and proposed something that conveys both their stance as the NYC black metal while still keeping to their name and the themes expressed in their music. He gave me reference from decorations in the Chrysler building and scenes from "Metropolis" It was an interesting challenge and I think a pretty brilliant idea.
Coconut Milk is a promising new indie rock act from Cincinnati, Ohio. Their main branding is the work of another local artist but I was commissioned for a logo that was modest and somewhat formal but while still being sketchy and playful. Paul O'Moore (bass) and myself have since collaborated on several other large scale art and music projects including, two music festivals.

secondary logo design
Logo was commissioned from a returning client for an event promotion company upstart. The development was put on hold due to other business with their music and record label. Still, logo's pretty cool.
